  • Drinks can be broken down into hydration, alcohol and caffeine.
  • Being even mildly dehydrated can affect how you feel both mentally and physically. Aim to drink 8 glasses of water a day (2 litres)
  • Top Tip: Have a BPA free water bottle with you during the day. Use this as a guide to how much you are drinking.
  • Alcohol can contribute to weight gain, negatively impact how you feel mentally and physically and can also dehydrate you.
  • Caffeine is one of my weaknesses but I’m conscious not to overdo it. Aim to drink 1-2 cups a day at most, don’t drink coffee after 4pm as this may affect sleeping patterns. I love to drink my coffee 60 minutes before I exercise to give me a bit of a zip!
